25 Eight Medical Group are equipped with dealing with all aspects of event medical cover, first aid requirements and ambulance operations.
We have real life, first hand experience in a range of situations. There is no event that is too little or too big for our time. We strive for perfection and provide nothing less than a high quality reliable service that breaks the standard order of business and provides genuine care and compassion. We are more than just first aiders, we are lifesavers.
Our team is a Paramedic led service ensuring that the person who makes the decisions is the right person to do so.

LEVELS OF COVER WE PROVIDE
First Aiders (EFAW AND FAW):
First Aid at Work with Manual handling and other training which can include oxygen therapy, basic life support and the use of Automated External Defibrillators. Our First Aiders are trained to recognise major illnesses, traumatic injuries and the need for spinal immobilisation.
First Responders / Emergency Care Assistants (FREC 3/FREC 4):
As for First Aiders with basic patient assessment skills, initial treatment of traumatic injuries and most First Responders are able to administer lifesaving medications.
Ambulance Technician (FREC 5):
As for First Responder with intermediate assessment skills, treatment of traumatic injuries, treatment of major illnesses and administration of medication.
Nurses:
Our Nurses and Advanced Nurse Practitioners are Health Care Professionals registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. They are able to provide advanced care which can include would gluing and suturing.
Paramedic:
Health Care Professionals registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Paramedics bring the hospital into the field with enhanced patient assessment, cannulation, drug therapy, Advanced Life Support, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, some surgical techniques and are able to administer advanced medication on their own initiative.
Doctor:
Health Care Professionals registered with the General Medical Council. Doctors are able to provide expert advice and care with enhanced patient assessment, prescritions services, Advanced Life Support, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, some surgical techniques and are able to administer advanced medication on their own initiative.
